You will need to make sure to complete signing up 100%.
To ensure you do that you will need to Sign up on the Get Started Page (which consists of Entering your Email, Confirm your account via Email link, Establish your profile)

If you do not complete the email verification step you may run into an error when submitting the Promo Code from your Activation Card.

NOTE: If you locate the original verification email but have previously clicked on the verification link and did NOT complete filling out the basic information to establish your profile you will encounter "Oops! The Email Link has Expired" page.
