Clickfree Installation on PC but encountered an Error: The app you're trying to install isn't a Microsoft-verified app

One of the reasons why we encountered this error message when installing the Clickfree App is because the Computer is in S Mode.

Please follow the steps below on how to change it under the settings of your computer.

1. Click the Windows icon then Click Settings

2. Click Apps on the Left pane then Click Advanced App Settings.

3. Under Advanced App Settings, You can see the option Choose where to get apps, click the dropdown menu and choose Anywhere

IF THE OPTION "CHOOSE WHERE TO GET APPS" IS MISSING, IT IS BECAUSE THE COMPUTER IS ON WINDOWS 11 S MODE. SO TO FIX IT YOU HAVE TO GET OUT OF S MODE. ONCE YOU SWITCH IT OUT OF S MODE, IT IS GOING TO BE PERMANENT. NOW IF YOU WANT TO SWITCH OFF THE S MODE PERMANENTLY, YOU CAN FOLLOW THE STEPS BELOW:

1. Click the Windows icon then Click Settings

2. Click System, Scroll down then Click Activation

3. Click on S mode then Click Open Store

4. Once you click on Open Store, it will open the Microsoft Store on your computer then you will see an option to Switch out of S mode.

Click on GET. After clicking Get, the S mode will be switched off.

5. Then you will receive a prompt message that says You're all set.

After doing these steps, you may RESTART your computer.

Once the computer has been restarted, you can go back to the Apps then Advanced App Settings and you should be able to see the Choose where to get apps option
